What is the (main) difference between the Christians, the Jews and the Muslims?

Spoiler alert. You don’t want the full answer to this (unless you’ve got a spare 5 years or so to study)!

Christians and of course everyone here at Gate Family Church believe that Jesus was (and is) the Son of God and by extension; Divine, John 1: 1-5 sums it up quite well.

“All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.”

Jews and Muslims do not believe that Jesus was (and is) the Son of God. Muslims honor Him as a significant prophet, while traditional Judaism views Him as a teacher or, in some cases, does not focus on His role at all. Messianic Jews—those of Jewish heritage who accept Jesus as Messiah – represent a bridge between these perspectives.

This is particularly significant from a Christian perspective as we read at John 14: 6 in the New Testament Jesus saying:

“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me”

And the logical interpretation of this scripture seems to state that if someone doesn’t believe in Jesus as the Son of God and by extension; Divine, then they will miss out on their salvation.

That said, some Christians consider that where Paul writes in Romans 2: 12 – 16

“For as many as have sinned without law will also perish without law, and as many as have sinned in the law will be judged by the law”

Could be interpreted to mean that Jews who follow the law of Moses  may also have a route to salvation as per that Covenant.

It’s not really for any of us to judge . .
